Kinetic Weapons Empty Kinetic Weapons

While doing a test of BC2 refining/drones - I got this.

Upgrading the first tier of kinetic weapons did two things:
First, I was prevented from switching to kinetic weapons on the weapons console (note that I could switch back and forth from lasers to kinetic before upgrading)
Also, mining drones immediately ceased responding; I could not even pick up the drones I ordered to return by flying BC over them.
I'm not sure if switching to kinetic weapons BEFORE upgrading them would resolve this, or if it is intentional - but it seems odd and the simultaneous ai failure indicates something is amiss.

I will repeat test on BC 1, if anything is different I will post again. If no second post within half an hour, the error is identical.

I don't know if I published a fix for this earlier, but it's fixed and coming in 1.01 at least.

I also wanted to point out that testing on both teams is very helpful. It's hard for me to test for team 2 from the editor so there are a often a lot of stuff that might be bugged for team 2 or for players that aren't player 1.

So you know, kinetic weapons are functioning WONDERFULLY. I absolutely love them, although I still suggest using penta-burst lasers against a hardened shield~

I've had some complaints/reports that 'Kinetics aren't working!!!!' or won't fire. I'm a little skeptical - anyone I recognize in game (meaning, we've flown together at least a few times successfully) has no problems with them after using the new weapon a few times. I've yet to have issue since we spoke.

Penta burst laser has a much higher dps against shields, if I recall correctly so they're definitely the right choice against shields(at least until I finish the plasma weapon tree). Kinetics is really specialized for hull-damage.
