Bullet dodging ships
Another game breaking bug, weapons go straight through ALL enemy craft, this applies to mines as well, which try to home in on target but then go straight through...here is the replay:
It seems to be fine until a point, as our small ships were attacked early on and then when we went to attack...the bug started

Re: Bullet dodging ships
Just to clarify, so this actually happens on the current patch? It happened last patch and I did something that could've fixed it. Looks like it didn't work.

Yep, this happened like a few hours ago.

Re: Bullet dodging ships
In the future, always use the debug command when you see something weird. Write "-debug" and then "-debug again a couple of seconds later to turn it off. This allows me to see some vital information about game systems.
Re: Bullet dodging ships
Also, for the record. I looked through this replay and the other two that people sent me previously and I can find no common cause. The three replays are as different as can be.
Your replay: Everything is going fine and the enemy BC is killing mines without problem and then when you're about to engage, your predator missile just goes through.
Replay 2: A corvette and destroyer attacks the enemy BC. The BC uses penta burst. All attacks hit correctly for a while but after a while the hits start going through.
Replay 3: A normal BCvBC battle with kinetic and broadsides. The projectiles start going through in the middle of the fight.
I can't find a common cause in these replays. I would think it had something to do with the attacked ship losing their shields but in your replay the ship has full shields and it still goes through. As for now, I have no idea what is causing this problem. I will however add more debug messages to it and patch it (hopefully today). If this happens again, please post the replay here so I can examine it.

Re: Bullet dodging ships
Triple post, woo.
I think I found the problem. My first patch fixed the problems in the first two replays which were caused by trying to place debris and fire inside the enemy ship. Your bug was caused by trying to place a tracking beacon inside the enemy ship. It works the same but I didn't notice it and therefore I didn't fix it in that patch. I've now published a new patch where it's fixed so this entire thing should be fixed. If it happens again, post here.
In other related news, I implemented a system checker that automatically detects when a system goes offline. This means that if there should be another bug in collision detection or physics which causes it to stop working(projectiles go through everything is a sure symptom), it will automatically restart it and keep going. If this happens, it will print a message telling you so and it's vital that I get the replay of it.
