Directional Missiles + Hotkeys
Right now missiles are very hard to fire if you're also firing the laser... hotkey (qwerty) would make that job alot easier and also won't ruin the experience
Also broadsides + missiles = fail... if you could fire missiles in any direction you want that could be fixed... there's yamato for only forward and you could also add torpedoes:
missiles : weaker ( not necessarily weaker than they are at the moment but weaker than torpedoes ) , directional ( used often )
torpedoes : stronger , only forward ( lower number , maybe cooldown ? , also a lot more expensive and slower - easily dodged by smaller ships )

Re: Directional Missiles + Hotkeys
Actually i think it's more like this, torpedoes: semi to non-guided heavy missiles(more payload for less tracking/engines).
Missiles: Good turn rate, not very good damage.
Semi-missiles: Like now.
