Patch 1.6 published

The new Cruiser Command patch 1.6 is now published. Here are the patch notes:

v1.6 (4/3 - 2013):
- Fixed an issue where Team 1’s ships would contribute the BC 2’s energy reg.
- Fixed an issue where small ships’ energy upgrade wouldn’t contribute to the BC reg when docked.
- Auto-turrets no longer target tracking beacons.
- Fixed an issue where reflective shield didn’t reflect properly.
- Increased broadside damage from 5x60 to 5x70.
- Increased broadside cooldown from 1.125 to 2.
- Increased broadside energy cost from 100 to 800.
- Fixed a visual issue where the BC would look like it was always loaded with Yamato.
- Possibly fixed the kermiculite issue.
- Modified all consoles. You no longer lose control of your marine while in a console. You can now leave a console by selecting your marine and moving it away.
- Removed the construction storage.
- Fixed a bug where drones couldn’t load missiles on the bottom floor.

one small thing i noticed, when you first enter game and go to power, none of the entires show up, you just have a blank screen with a picture of a BC, you can just hit 1 adjust and it all comes back so its fine

It turns out even when your connected to a console now you can get hit by debris and killed by fire so you are unable to use the console. This happened to my weapons guy while in the middle of a fight and we lost because he wasnt able to use the weapons

That is intended. You're supposed to be able to die while using a console. If it hasn't happened before, it's because of some bug no one told me about Razz

As for the power console, I found the issue and fixed it. I published the fix along with a hotfix for missiles for team 1.

BUG IN 1.6

This same bug as reported earlier happens also in the Upgrades console! -

Please fix this ASAP - It could kill the map Sad

Wait, do you respawn correctly and then you can use the console again? Or is the console/marine broken forever?

it was lke you didnt notice a thing but if you switched veiws you would see an incapacitated marine but you had full control of the console
The worst was when you disc. to say to like...power but you hit ESC and you couldnt move and you couldnt reconect with the console, better to just stay on then try and get off

Upgades Console Broke Again

The glitch happens if you vote kick someone while their on the console - Breaks the upgrades console for the whole game... no way to get it back... I have replay if you want it.

Happens when they are not on the console also, and doesnt always happen to the vote kicking team. It doesnt always occur either. i have sent replays with my other ones like i told you i would Insomni.

no replay but votekicking out of the game someone on a console has high risk of bugging it

Ive had the bug with the kick from console option too, once only tho

Okay, I was afraid the new console changes would bug something. However, I think it's worth it in the end because it'll make it easier for new players. I'll work on fixing it as soon as possible.

yeah that should be changed, if you try to ping and push the target away instead that cant happen, why is Push on R anyways o.o

With fear in my eyes, I noticed the automatic topic reply notification email. I thought to myself: "No one ever posts on the patch threads this late after the patch if it's not for a bug." But I was wrong!

Anyway, great to hear that it's working fine. I was expecting a longer period of console-related bugs after the latest console change. Oh well, I'm not complaining.

Just as an FYI, the vote-kick console bug had been in effect for a very long time, not just with the latest patch implements. I'm glad to hear that it has apparently been fixed.
